Even though our summer activities are in full swing, I found some time this weekend to make Strawberry Freezer Jam. A lot easier than I thought it would be. Strawberries were a 5 STAR deal at our WinCo. $2.98 for 4 lbs.!!! I had to take advantage. Now Shawn is asking for Huckleberry Jam. Maybe I will if they are at the farmer's market...

Looks very yummy, I have been thinking about making some the last couple weeks but haven't gotten around to it. Do you have a good recipie?
Yum! I tried making it all by myself for the first time this year and can't figure out why it took me so long. I'd get the strawberries ready, but I was always chasing kids while mom did the cooking. Now you've got me in the mood for homemade bread!
I love Huckleberry Jam. How much do those cost to buy. They can be a pain to pick.
Yummy. I really should give freezer jam a try.
Erin - I use the pectin called Sure Jell (pink box) and I follow the directions in the box. All you need is fruit, sugar, water, and pectin. Very easy.
Shana - Too bad we don't live near each other, I've got the homemade bread to go with the jam.
Cindy - Huckleberries are a pain to pick, so I'm hoping someone else will do it for me at the farmer's market. I don't have a clue on the price. I hope it's not too bad in price.
